Grade Constitution
Final grades in this course will be constituted according to the following formula:
- take-home assignments (primary source analyses) (2) 45%
- video response report(s) 10%
- research paper 25%
- class participation and attendance 20%
Grade Scale
The grading scale employed in this class to evaluate all examinations, papers, essays, quiz, etc., is as follows:

| B | = | 83-87 |
| B- | = | 81-82 |
| C+ | = | 78-80 |
| C | = | 73-77 |
| C- | = | 71-72 |

| D- | = | 60 |
| F | = | 0-59 |
| WA | = | final grade [adminstrative withdrawal due to excessive absences = F] |
| XXF | = | final grade [failure due to academic dishonesty] |
