This course provides the student interested in the application of psychological theories and principles an opportunity to have an applied learning experience in a pre-approved agency or organization. The learning experience will be guided by an individualized learning contract which will specify the academic and work components of the experience.

This class is only open to junior or senior psychology majors with a 3.0 overall GPA and a 3.0 GPA in the major. Special consideration will be given to students who have successfully completed the following courses:

  • Introduction to Psychological Science (Psyc 103)
  • Psychological Statistics (Psyc 211)
  • Research Methods (Psyc 220)
  • Conditioning and Learning (Psyc 213)
  • Physiological Psychology (Psyc 214)
  • Cognitive Psychology (Psyc 215)

Enrollment in the course is made on a competitive basis.

Spring 2008 internship information sessions will be held on the following dates:
Wednesday, January 30 at 3:15 PM, Education 103
Tuesday, February 5 at 3:15 PM, Education 103
