CofC Web Accessibility Guidelines- Rule (P)

(p) When a timed response is required, the user shall be alerted and given sufficient time to indicate more time is required.

Translation: If your web page says "You have sixty seconds to respond", there must be 1) a way for the user to know there's a time limit, and 2) for the user to get more time if needed.
