Theatre Scholarships

To apply for a scholarship, please go to the Department’s Administrative Office in room 217, Albert Simons Center for the Arts . Ms. Oleksiak, the Department’s Administrative Assistant, will provide you with the necessary forms.

Fine Arts Scholarship ($1000)
Awarded by audition to entering freshman (auditionsJanuary/February). Renewable for four years if student maintains a 3.0 average in major.

Emmett Robinson Scholarship ($500-1000)
Reviewed by application, then awarded by Theatre faculty vote. This non-renewable scholarship is given to a rising senior with a 3.0 GPA in theatre courses and a distinguished record of leadership in performance and/or production. Preference will be given to students excelling in both.

Theatre Artist Scholarship ($300)
Renewable if student maintains a 3.0 average in major. Available with tuition abatement.

Mary Jollensten Scholarship (Funds variable)
Awarded by application, then voted upon by theatre faculty. Non-renewable. Awarded to a junior or senior theatre major with financial need and an emphasis on scenography or costume design/technology.
