Students may make appointments in person or by phone. Appointments can be made in advance for a doctor's appointment. A certain number of appointments are also reserved for acute illness; please call the Student Health Service early in the day to schedule these appointments.
Occasionally, all appointments for a particular day will be filled and students may be asked to return the following day. In case of an emergency, please notify the receptionist who will arrange for the student to speak with a nurse. Students not wishing to wait until the following day will receive assistance arranging alternate care in the community.

If Health Services is closed and you cannot wait until it reopens, call Public Safety at 953-5611. If you are on or near campus they will transport you to an area hospital for immediate care. Public Safety should be called only for serious or acute problems.
