From within main campus in downtown Charleston: Go toward the Stern Center near the intersection of George and Glebe streets. Go down Glebe Street from George Street. The Faculty House (#20) is the third building on the left. The meeting room is on the first floor. From areas north or west of Charleston, SC: Follow signs on Highway 17 south or I-26, Highway 52, or Highway 78 east to Charleston. Go toward the downtown area using or exiting onto East Bay Street, Meeting Street, or King Street. Look for Calhoun Street. Go one block past Calhoun Street to George Street. Make a right at George Street, a left at St. Philip, and another left into the garage (recommended). Please see the note below if this garage is full or closed. Walk toward the intersection of George and St. Philip streets, then down George Street toward the arched campus gateway. Find the intersection of George and Glebe streets near there. Go down Glebe Street from George Street. The Faculty House (#20) is the third building on the left. After the meeting please follow this departure. From areas south of Charleston, SC: Follow signs on Highway 17 north to Charleston. Cross the draw bridge over the Ashley River, bear right to Lockwood Drive. Make a left at the Calhoun Street light, follow Calhoun Street toward the downtown area, and make a right at St. Philip Street, then left into the garage just past George Street (recommended). Please see the note below if this garage is full or closed. Walk toward the intersection of George and St. Philip streets, then down George Street toward the arched campus gateway. Make a right on Glebe Street and look for the Faculty House (#20) on your right. |
