Announcements:

  • Spring Tour to Virginia
    (    Thursday, March 27th - Saturday, March 29th)
    Permission slips are due today!
    Our Spring Tour will take place. Berkeley County students need to make sure an official signs for an excused absence.
    We will be traveling to Richmond and the Hampton Road area of Virginia to visit Virginia State University, Virginia Commonwealth University, and Hampton University.
    Be ready to load the buses at 6:30 am! We are leaving at 7 am.

  • Be sure to turn in your Youth Service Day Participation Form!
    Turn it into Mrs. Ben-Yisrael today.
  • Progress Reports are passed due. Your stipend has been deducted if you did not turn them in. If you have them today, place them in the folder at the sign in desk. Your money will be
    redeemed to you in your next stipend check. Thank you.

  • Bridge Applications were due March 1st, but I only received one. You may get them to me by Wednesday, March 12th if you still wish to participate. There are 5 slots left. It could be yours.
    The program dates are June 2nd (classes start June 3rd) – July 3rd.
    See Mrs. Ben-Yisrael for more information.

  • SAVE THE DATE!!! Our graduation is
    Sunday, April 27th at 6pm.
    This is a mandatory event for the program.
    Your parents should have received letters from us requesting a
    RSVP for those attending.
    • We are looking for talent for graduation.
      If interested in performing please let Mr. Lewis know.
      We will be holding auditions on Saturday, April 12th.
      You are responsible for your own props and instruments. Remember, this is a celebration, please make your contribution festive.
  • Seniors!
    • Please remember we need your cap and gown photo
      to place in our program booklet by April 12th.
      (This is our last Saturday Session.)
      You may give us a picture, allow us to scan one or send it to Mrs. Ben-Yisrael digitally at benyisraelc@cofc.edu.
    • Graduate Bio Forms are due Saturday, April 12th.
      They were mailed to you this week. If you need a copy they are available on the back table.
  • Pick up your tickets. We have a fundraiser concert coming up on Saturday, March 22nd. You are to sign out a set of 5 tickets for your parents with Mr. Rasheed when you go to collect your stipend check.

  • Stipend checks will be distributed today. For those students who are due a check, but yours was not processed for today, you will receive them via mail by Tuesday, March 18th.

  • We are in the process of updating our website. As of today, we will be posting Saturday Sessions’ Agenda, any forms that you may need as well as weekly updates on the web. This summer will be spent updating the look of the site with input from you.
