For most college students, they feel that their everyday lives are far too busy between classes, homework, social life, etc. and rarely find time to help out their community but not Charlie Joughin. Since his freshman year in high school at

Plant High School in Tampa, Fla., Charlie has been reaching out to help any and all organizations in his area that are looking for volunteers. Since coming to CofC he has chosen the path of leadership to help teach other students about the impact that someone can have by helping those less fortunate. He is the current secretary of SGA, active member in his fraternity, Sigma Nu, is a member of the Greek Life Bible Study and has contributed countless hours to the community by volunteering with various organizations. Charlie is the ideal candidate for Volunteer Cougar Spirit and this is why we are proud to have him as a member.
