Details: Information Technology-Student Computing Support and Campus Technologies will provide a
one-stop setup service during Move-in Weekend (23 - 24 August) for students who have laptop computers. Setups cover both the
College's CampusWide Wireless network and the ResNet Internet Service in campus housing. Technicians can also install the Norton Antivirus software that is available to all
students at no charge. Anti-spyware software may be loaded upon request if time permits.
This one-stop service is also provided 9:00 - 5:00 Monday - Friday during the first two weeks of school
as a convenience to students. There are no charges for this service or the software.
Students are also strongly urged to have their computers registered with Public Safety
as a deterrent to theft.

Details: A fun field trip to see some of our gorgeous wild orchids and carnivorous plants.

summer is a peak bloom season for many other wildflowers too. We'll also be learning
about the wonderful and endangered longleaf pine ecosystem. A box lunch and water will

Details: Convocation is an official event, in which all new students, all faculty, other members of the college community, and invited guests convene to begin the academic year, to learn about the traditions of the college, and to hear an intellectually challenging speaker. This year's featured Convocation speaker is Dava Sobel, author of the convocation reading book Longitude. All new undergraduate students are expected to attend Convocation. It is the first formal event of your college career, just as Commencement is the last. Convocation will conclude with a recessional down George Street through Porter’s Lodge to the Cistern yard in front of Randolph Hall.

students at no charge. Anti-spyware software may be loaded upon request if time permits.

A present day Ph.D. candidate is mysteriously transported into the worlds of these plays and finds herself helplessly and hilariously effecting the outcome. This play is a wild and fantastical farce complete with swordplay, mistaken identities, silliness, wonderful word-play and even cross-dressing (by both genders).
