Academic Advising and Planning Center (AAPC)
The Academic Advising and Planning Center (AAPC) prepares undergraduate students to navigate all aspects of academic planning by promoting an atmosphere that encourages self-exploration and resource utilization in support of academic success, as well as the timely and informed pursuit of an academic major. 

Professional academic advisors work individually with students to identify values, discover strengths and abilities, establish goals and develop an action plan toward graduation and beyond, including appropriate course selection. 

Center for Student Learning (CSL)
The trained and experienced staff, faculty and peer tutors at CSL offer tutoring on a walk-in basis (accounting, math, Spanish and French, writing, speaking) or by appointment (subject area tutoring, all other foreign languages). Have a specific question about studying at the college level? Students can receive a personalized study skill consultation. The staff also organizes group study sessions and standardized test preparation classes for GRE, GMAT, LSAT, MCAT, PRAXIS and more.

Grice Marine Laboratory
This facility supports teaching and research in the marine sciences, especially in evolutionary biology, marine biogeography, cellular and molecular biology, benthic ecology, immunology, microbial ecology, phytoplankton ecology, environmental physiology, fish systematics and invertebrate zoology.

Language Resource Center
Designed to meet the technology needs of students in the School of Languages, Cultures, and World Affairs, the Language Resource Center is a fully stocked multi-media laboratory. The audio library is 100 percent online and includes material in eight languages. Students and faculty can also check out videos, laptops, projectors and video cameras, and use the center's computer lab to create special projects.
